Studio with seperate rooms for kilns, materials, working space, exhibition approx. 100 qm

Basic Materials
Basic materials (clay, pigments, white & transparent glazes, basic tools) will be provided to realize the artist project, the jury choose. Before the residency starts, the artist will get one chance (beginning of the year) to order this materials. If special materials are necessary, the artist have to order or bring by themself. Basic materials and studio conditions are only available for the realisation of the work that is directly related to the artist project. Unused basic material has to remain in the residency house. At the end of the residency, the artist donate one representative work of art.
Flat
The resideny house includes a artist flat, just one floor up. There are two seperate single living rooms to host two artists in same time. The flat is for artists only. Other guests are allowed to stay in the flat overnight for max. three nights. Additional there is a shared bath room (with washing machine) and a kitchen. Both living rooms are equipped with a bed, table, chairs. Bed linen is provided, towels must be brought. There is also free & fast wifi internet in the whole building. For lectures or presentations a mobile video beamer is available. It is expected that the living and working areas are cleaned by the artists themselves.
Travelling to Neumünster
Künstlerhaus Stadttöpferei Neumünster is situated in the centre of the town (Map), near to the main market square Großflecken at sidetresst called Fürsthof No. 8. Follow the red tourist signs for „Stadttöpferei“.
Neumünsters train- or busstation is 10 minutes walk away. The town is also easy accessible by fast trains or by car highways (A7 Hamburg-Flensburg / A21). Nearest airports are Hamburg (60 km) or Lübeck (70 km). From Hamburg Airport nearly every hour a bus (Kielius Bus) starts infront of the buildung to Kiel, via Neumünster for 50 minutes. From Lübeck Airport the train needs approx 2 hours.
